I started Meals Matter because I saw a stark increase of food insecurity in my own hometown and knew I had to help address it. I realized how many families, kids, and seniors in my community were struggling to access something as basic as a nutritious food, and it became extremely personal to me. I have always loved helping people, but Meals Matter gave me that unique feeling of seeing a tangible impact in my community from the work we were doing. Building Meals Matter has been the most meaningful and rewarding commitment of my life and I’m extremely proud and grateful for that.

I joined Meals Matter to make a tangible firsthand impact in my community. The issue of food insecurity was made clear to me by our founders, Noah and Wyatt. After hearing of the grave situation that my local community and communities all over the world were facing, I knew I had to do something to make a difference. In my journey with Meals Matter, we have created a massive impact in our community and countless others. I wish to extend the progress we have made so that no one goes hungry.

I chose to co-found Meals Matter because I want to create change in local communities and inspire young change makers to help their communities. Through food drives, outreach events, and partnerships, we have been able to grow Meals Matter into an international nonprofit organization. Although Meals Matter's success has been more than we could have imagined, we are always hungry for more.

I helped create Meals Matter after seeing the tangible change we made in the Middleton community. As high school students, it's not often that you get the chance to be a part of something that makes tangible, long-standing change, which is exactly what has made Meals Matter stand out. Being a part of this mission to battle hunger has connected me so deeply to my community, peers, and neighbors, and has truly been the most amazing and fulfilling experience. No one should have to worry about where their next meal will come from. Our work has the incredible impact of easing that stressor for so many lives, which I am so endlessly grateful for.

I got involved with Meals Matter because I was excited to make a change in my community. I never would have thought that it would become such a big part of my life. After being involved, I really began seeing the impacts we were having on people, and have been eternally grateful that I get to be apart of it. Helping people within my community has been so special, and I am incredibly excited to help those outside of it, too. I enjoy seeing others with the same goals, and am so excited to see everyone continue to make a difference!

I got involved in the Meals Matter organization because I was brought to light on the issue that food insecurity poses to my community and wanted to help make a change. In learning about Meals Matter's mission to fight hunger and inspire volunteerism, I knew I had to do my part for my community by contributing to Meals Matter's impact. Raising donations and motivating my peers to volunteer alongside me has been more than fulfilling, knowing that my efforts put food on the table for families in my area.

I joined Meals Matter because it gave me a chance to make change in my community and have real impact on the fight against food insecurity. After seeing the success other Meals Matter chapters had, it was clear just how much we all can do, even as high schoolers, as well as how real food insecurity is on a both local and national level. This organization has not only created lasting impact on the communities we serve, but also connected me with so many incredible people who really do want to change the world. Meals Matter has helped us make that possible in our own communities and beyond and I'm so excited to see how this organization grows as well as the impact we make

I got involved with Meals Matter to give back to the community that welcomed me. I heard about Meals Matter in sophomore year but I wasn't sure about getting involved knowing that I was going to move. Coming to Baltimore, I knew that I wanted to give back to the community. I saw the amazing impact that Meals Matter had on its local communities in Madison and I wanted to do the same. Meals Matter has inspired me and so many others and I'm so happy I joined!

I got involved in Meals Matter because I recognized that I have the ability to make a real difference in my community. After starting my school's chapter and joining Meals Matter, I quickly realized how impactful students can be when they come together with a shared purpose. Through organizing food drives, leading initiatives, and working alongside other passionate volunteers, I've seen firsthand that our actions can create meaningful change.

I joined Meals Matter a little over a year ago founding the Edgewood chapter. I chose to join Meals Matter because of the increasing need for government subsidized food programs. As someone whose family is heavily involved in the hospitality and food service industry, I have seen the impact of increasing food costs on individuals and businesses, first hand. I hope to make a difference not only in our community but around the world, one meal at a time.
