Who?
We are in constant search of motivated student-leaders from high schools across the globe who seek to make tangible change in their communities: whether you live in a town of 50 or a city of 5 million, the work of our organization is possible for anyone, anywhere.
Why?
Starting a chapter of Meals Matter is more than an opportunity to provide meals to your neighbors and peers—it’s a chance to become a leader in your community. Through this experience, you’ll develop valuable skills that extend far beyond your high school years. From strengthening your public speaking and communication abilities to building meaningful relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders, you’ll gain real-world leadership experience and become a catalyst for positive change, and a beacon of light in the lives of others.
How?
To start a chapter, the first step is to submit an application through our form (found below). Once your application is approved, you’ll begin the exciting process of building your chapter—but you won’t be doing it alone. Our team will support you every step of the way, from forming your leadership board to organizing your very first drive, and everything in between.
Our board is eager to meet with prospective chapter leaders—you—through live meetings where we can share advice, answer questions, and provide helpful guidance as you get started. After your chapter is approved, you’ll also gain access to a wide range of online resources, toolkits, and step-by-step guides designed to help you run an effective, organized, and impactful chapter.

Now! Food insecurity exists in every community, every day. Whether you’re a freshman just getting started or a senior ready to make an impact before graduation, there’s no better time to take action.
